CR7 the Birthday Boy Turns 33

What do you get the man who has everything for his birthday? Money-can’t-buy kicks, of course.

Cristiano Ronaldo turned 33 not too long ago, and along with an aqua-blue, ocean-themed cake, he showed off a gift from his sponsors, Nike.

Ronaldo is one of just three sporting superstars to have a lifetime endorsement deal with the sporting goods giant in a deal said to be worth US$1 billion (£715m).

So it wasn’t a huge stretch for the company to shell out a custom pair of trainers with a 24 karat gold ‘swoosh’.

The shoes were delivered in a special wooden box lined, of course, with more gold and the most decorated footballer appeared delighted.

Damn…who wouldn’t be delighted with a pair of gold swoosh trainers?

How much will they cost the regular punter to buy? Sadly for those brave enough to wear all white on their feet, they’ll never see the shelves of a store.

Neymar the Birthday Boy Turns 26

It’s all about superstar birthdays with Neymar also recently celebrating his 26th birthday.

With flashy tuxedos, a star-studded guest list, and exclusive entertainment, Neymar’s spectacular birthday bash was held in one of France’s most luxurious venues and was described as the must-attend party of the year.

The list of recognizable celebrities and sportspeople is too long to describe, so if you are interested in finding out then read the article.

I’m so upset…why the heck did I not crack an invite? Lol, I wish!

Too Tired to Play Because of Too Much Sex

This well-known German keeper, who has a Victoria Secret model girlfriend, who says her man is often too tired to play because they have too much sex.

She has blown the lid on their sex life saying they do the deed four to five times a week.

I’m trying to fathom if this is actually a negative or positive !!

Reading the article, I would say it’s a negative as he is no longer the 1st choice at PSG.

Yes, he lost his spot – need I say more!

The 20-Most Clinical Free-Kick Takers in Europe

FourFourTwo magazine has produced a list of the most deadly free-kick takers in the continent.

They have worked out Europe’s top dead-ball specialists using data from the start of the 2013/14 season, with players who are currently active and have had a minimum of 20 free-kick attempts on goal.

Their findings show the players with the highest success rates from the number of efforts they’ve produced in the last five seasons, and the results make for a fascinating read.

Seven Premier League men are among Europe’s set-piece superstars.

But who are they?

Premier League Player of the Year

With about 12-games left to play in the EPL season and Man City pretty much crowned Champions, who would be your Premier League Player of the year?

Man City fans would obviously vote for Kevin de Bruyne.

Spurs fans for Harry Kane.

Liverpool fans for Mo Salah.

The emerging favourite is ?? You will be surprised…

Horrific Tackle

Fuck…it appears to be the worst tackle ever committed on a football pitch.

A left-back controls a cross-field ball and takes a step back as he prepares to punt the ball upfield. As he prepares to clatter the ball, an opponent charges in and produces a collarbone high kung-fu kick.

He didn’t even make an attempt to go for the ball, what was that !!

It’s an obvious red card and the kind which sees this “black belt” banned for life.

What a total idiot !!

World Cup 2018 Kits Reveal

The World Cup is just around the corner and millions of football fans, including myself, are really excited for this worldly spectacle. Come on June hurry up, I cannot wait !!

“Go Portugal Go” !!

Twenty of the 32 nations have shown off their new kits / uniforms for Russia 2018 so far.

Here’s how these home strips rank in design and general looks.

My humble opinion…I think designers could have done more, but who am I to comment. According to my 15-year old son, my fashion sense sucks and I’m old fashioned…LOL!

What do you think?
