A Spanish U-11 youth team trounces another team 25-0. For the winning team, there were huge celebrations. For the losers, there was crying, as well as coaches and parents fuming that this kind of loss goes against the spirit of the game.
I’ve been in this position before, both as the winner and the loser. All I can say is that it’s very hard to be on both sides of this equation.
