After taking over the job at Old Trafford in 1986, Sir Alex Ferguson knew he had to start from scratch and build from within the club academy.
He quickly set about building and developing the youth academy and produced what is now known as the Class of 1992. All football fans will know the Class of 1992..if you don’t then what rock have you been living under ?? Check those star players out here.
When Sir Alex retired in 2013, the development of talent from within their youth academy has never been quite the same, which has been the cause of huge debate.
Gary Neville, a former Class of 1992 graduate, recently launched a scathing attack on the Old Trafford transfer policy branding it “disjointed” and “not good enough”.
Is Neville wrong with his attack ??
Man United now have about 50 full-time scouts all over the world and the “special one”, Mr. Mourinho, in charge. Mourinho, who likes to control every situation, obviously has the final say on every deal. With more than 50 full-time scouts, how can things be so disjointed at United ??
Neville could be right. Do all you die-hard United fans agree ??
